So, it's been a little over half a year since my last post. A lot has happened. We have moved into our own apartment, I'm finishing my degree, I worked a couple of shifts for Mac, my pets have passed away, the girls spent their 1st Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and birthday! Phew! That's a quick little update on one of the toughest 6 months I have encountered haha. Life is good and I am comfortable with being a full time student and mommy. I am really looking forward to graduating in May! YAY! Okay, so everyone seems to have a list of New Year's Resolutions after the New Year, but I didn't think of one nor have time to think of what I want to accomplish this year. I just want 2013 to be filled with happiness and less stress. I didn't think twice about anything else until I watched Pinksofoxy's youtube video on de-cluttering her life! Actually, she is a guru that I randomly found and I started watching only a week ago. She did several videos on cleaning up her make-up collection and giving it away.Watching her videos motivated me to do the same. I am a make-up junkie; I love everything from reading about it to collecting it. I have accumulated so much make-up in the past 5 years that I don't truly get to enjoy them. I have a hard time trying to rotate between my products because I have so much stuff! I feel obligated to use everything at least once and that takes away the pleasure of putting on my make-up. I decided to spend a few days on getting rid of the make-up that I don't use and keep those that I use at least once a month. Here is what my make up stash looks like in my dresser...

The make-up I am giving away have only been swatched or wore once. Some I have never even touched...that's how sad it is. I tossed whatever is old and can't be given away. I also used alcohol to sanitize my lipsticks and such. I am going to keep myself accountable to not purchase any make-up unless I am going to use it. You guys can keep me accountable too. This will help me save money and finish what I already have. Clearly, I have serious issues. lol. Until next time!
